High Fashion Runway and Fashion Print Division
HIGH FASHION MODELS
DIZON’s high fashion models walk the hottest catwalks, pose for the most posh magazines, are fitted by the greatest designers, and get showcased at the best conventions.
High fashion models are featured primarily in haute couture runway shows and in high fashion magazines such as W, Elle, Vogue, and many others. In addition, they model in cosmetics and designer catalogs, print ads, and commercials. These unique models have looks that are extreme or exotic in a sophisticated way. High fashion models are young adults who must be tall and toned. Potential candidates should have runway experience (walking, turning, pivoting, stepping, ascending/descending stairs, gestures, removal of garments, dancing, etc.)
Film, Television, and Commercials Division
ACTORS & ACTRESSES
DIZON represents talented men and women interested in film, television, and commercial work. Applicants should have prior acting experience. For teenagers, acting experience can include high school theatre, drama, and singing experience. Adults should have the previously mentioned experience plus formal acting and vocal training.
Commercial Print Division
COMMERCIAL PRINT MODELS / GENERAL FASHION MODELS
DIZON represents men and women who have unique or special characteristics, the look for commercial print is not specific.
Commercial print models are used in magazines, newspapers, packaging, sales displays, product catalogs and live promotional work. There are two different styles of commercial print models. Character commercial models have a look that makes them distinctly different looking from the average model. Straight commercial models range from average models to attractive models. Straight commercial models also include “real people” models, who are the non-model types.
Babies, Kids & Teens Division
CHILD MODELS
DIZON represents baby, child, and teen models.
Babies should be able to sit up on their own, and children should be in good academic standing. If the model needs more guidance in this industry, parents may choose to employ a “personal manager,” which located in most major cities, and/or complete readings about the modeling field. In addition, if a child is at least four years of age, we recommend that you enroll in a modeling school or seminar in your area.
Since children are under the age of 18 years, an Entertainment Permit must be acquired before any placement can be done by DIZON. You may register for this permit at: Industrial Relations Department Labor Commissioner. If you are a California resident, the following is a link to these permits.
Special Sizes Division
PLUS SIZE & PETITE MODELS / PARTS MODELS
DIZON represents plus size, petite, and parts models.
Plus models have well-proportioned, full figures and generally wear between size 12 and size 18. Also, a general rule for those who qualify for plus size modeling is that their waist should be at least 9 inches smaller than their hips and chest.
Petite models have a smaller frame and generally wear sizes 3-7 Petite. Models with superiorly appealing, specific body parts are used in print ads and commercials. Parts models include hand models, leg models, female foot models, teeth/smile models, face models, and hair models.
The X Division
SWIMSUIT MODELS / LINGERIE MODELS / BODY MODELS
DIZON represents models who are interested in high profile, sexy, and classy lingerie, swimsuit calendars, magazines, and events!
Swimsuit models must have a slender figure with an ample bust, attractive contours, and darker skin. Swimsuit models should not have a visible rib cage or hipbones, or any angular bony protrusions. Their figure should be well-toned, without cellulite or excessive muscular definition.
Lingerie models need an attractive figure with an ample bust. Skin must be flawless, without body hair, freckles, or scars. Models should not be overly tan. The model should not have any rib or chest bone protrusions, and should be without excessive muscular definition.
Nude or figure models work in tasteful print, videos, and films. DIZON represents nude models for tasteful photography with a professional aesthetic. Nude models are young adults. Figure models must have an excellent figure with a very full bust. Looks for nude and figure models range from wholesome to sexy/exotic.
Celebrity Models Division
CELEBRITY MODELS
DIZON represents supermodels who have become celebrities, and also celebrities who wish perform as spokespersons for various products and companies. DIZON can locate the celebrity you wish to utilize for your product or service.
Entertainment Division
SINGERS / BANDS / DJ’s / COMEDIANS / MAGICIANS / SPECIALTY ACTS
DIZON represents singers, bands, deejays, comedians, magicians, and other specialty acts.
Industry Professionals Division
